LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech baseball team traveled to Lima, Ohio, on Wednesday to take on the Racers of the University of Northwestern Ohio in a conference doubleheader. Game one of the doubleheader saw the Warriors Fall to the Racers 5-7, with the nightcap ending 1-4 in favor of UNOH. The Warriors move to 19-14 overall and 15-11 in conference play.
In game one, the Warriors went 10 for 27 at the plate as a team, with
Jayden Reed,
Parker Bates, and
Carson McNulty leading Tech with 2 hits apiece.
Tyler Stahl led the offense in RBIs with 2, while Reed,
Trevor Patterson, and
Alex Watkins all had 1.
Ryan Troxel started game one on the mound, throwing 5 innings, giving up 9 hits and 7 runs while retiring 3 batters via the strikeout.
Christian Mojica went 2 for 3 at the dish, while
Jacob Daftari and Watkins were the other Warriors to record hits with 1 apiece.
Brice Stultz had the Warrior's lone RBI of the game.
Zach Zaborowski started game two of the doubleheader for Tech and threw 6 innings while allowing 7 hits in 28 batters faced and 4 runs (2 earned). He struck out 4 batters.
The Warriors wrap up their regular season with a four-game series at Cleary University starting on Saturday, April 29
th. The games will be played at Lake Trust Stadium on Cleary's Campus in Howell, Michigan.
