ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team traveled to Rochester Hills, Michigan on Thursday night to take on the Rochester University Warriors in a WHAC battle of Warriors. Indiana Tech prevailed in this edition of the Warrior matchup shutting out Rochester and scoring a season high 24 goals in the 24-0 victory. Tech has picked up some momentum recently, scoring over 20 goals in each of their last two games and posting its first shutout since March 26
th, 2022.
The Warriors' defense was a fortress allowing just four total shots all game and zero shots on goal. They forced 21 turnovers in the game, with
Da'zah Regusters,
Faith Donally, and
Jordan Donally all leading the way with two apiece. Tech controlled the game thanks to their 19-8 advantage on draw controls and
Abbey Wilson's team high of seven. The offense was on fire as well, scoring their highest tally of the season with 15 different Warriors picking up a point.
Brooke Buhr had seven to lead all scorers on four goals and three assists.
Jordan Donally picked up six points, with a team high five goals and one assist.
Cece Mason picked up the win for the Warriors in her first appearance in net this season.
The Warriors move to 6-4 overall and 3-3 in conference play. Up next, they will host Lourdes University (Ohio) on Saturday, April 8
th at 10 am.
