FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Saturday morning saw the Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team host Lourdes University (Oh.) in a WHAC contest. The Warriors entered the game on a hot streak where they scored over 20 goals in each of their last two games. Tech would continue that streak on Saturday with a 22-7 win over the visiting Gray Wolves.
Faith Donally,
Abbey Wilson, and
Halli Reinhard all contributed to the cause with four goals each. Donally would lead the Warriors with eight points, four ground balls, and four caused turnovers.
Brooke Buhr had six draw controls and added seven points in the win after scoring a hattrick and picking up four assists.
Dani Macomber also scored a hat-trick, while
Jade Hamilton,
Jada Pope,
Cece Mason, and
Brook Maul each scored one goal for Tech.
Sydney Oberdorfer picked up the win in goal for the Warriors, making three saves through three quarters.
Abigail Magda played in net in the fourth quarter and made two saves.
The Warriors move to 7-4 overall and 4-3 in WHAC play. They will travel to Adrian, Michigan on Wednesday, April 12
th to play Siena Heights University (Mich.) at 4 pm.
