FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team hosted Lourdes University on Wednesday evening for their third straight home match, in which the Warriors controlled the game and took a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-15) win to improve to 6-0 in WHAC play.

Taylor Paul was just 2 kills short of surpassing the 1,000-career kill mark. With the game tied as 7 apiece, the New Bremen, Ohio, native slammed down a kill of an assist from
Andrea Schriver to reach the 1,000 mark as well as spark a 6-0 run, which gave Tech control of the set as they went on to win 25-15. Paul becomes just the 7
th Warrior to reach 1,000 career kills.
Although the second set was closer in score, the Warriors never trailed and took the set 25-21. The Orange and Black had a slow start to the third set as they found themselves down 8-3 in a hurry, but a timely timeout from
Matt Fishman got the team back on track. They would outscore the Gray Wolves 22-7 in the remainder of the set to complete the sweep.
Tech improves to 16-2 on the year and hits the road for a short stint in their next two matches as they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to take on defending WHAC champions Cornerstone University on Friday the 22
nd before facing off against Aquinas College on Saturday.
