ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Wednesday afternoon to take on WHAC opponent Concordia University (Mich.) for their second straight WHAC road game. Little could separate the two teams as they fought to a 0-0 draw to end the game.
The scoreless affair was an even contest as both teams recorded 7 shots on goal. Tech recorded two early chances as
Georgina Palos Noguer forced two saves from the Cardinals keeper inside the opening ten minutes. Despite a few more chances, Tech could not capitalize and went into the break tied 0-0.
The Warrior offense kept searching for the opening goal and had a quick opportunity off the head of
Abbie Hulme two minutes into the second half, but the Cardinal keeper would deny the go-ahead goal, and the game would conclude in a draw.
Michaela Bitle played all 90 minutes in net for the Warriors and recorded 7 saves to earn the shutout.
The Warriors prepare for Rochester University in their next match as they host their first home conference game of the season on Saturday, with kick-off set for 4 p.m.
