FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's wrestling team traveled to Rochester Hills, Michigan, on Friday evening to take on Rochester University in the Warriors' second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference dual of the season. Tech took down Rochester in dominant fashion, winning 41-6, before returning to Indiana for the Spartan Mat Classic, hosted by Manchester University, on Saturday.

In North Manchester, the Orange and Black had four wrestlers finish in the top eight of their respective weight classes.
Griffin Bekish placed fourth at 174 with a 2-2 record, winning his first two matches 17-14 over Manchester's David Cox and 7-3 over Remington Bauer of Baldwin Wallace. Bekish dropped his final two matches of the day to finish fourth.
David Bortz finished fifth at 184 lbs with a 4-1 record. After starting the day with his lone loss, Bortz ripped off four straight wins, 10-4 over Desmon Perry of Ohio Wesleyan, 10-3 over Marian's Peter Sells, 6-4 over Brady Heckathron of Cornerstone to get revenge over his lone loss, and 2-0 over teammate
Michael Durham.
Michael Durham finished sixth at 184, going 2-2 on the day. Durham started the day with a 3-6 loss but bounced back with two straight wins, 6-3 over Wabash's Zach Wagner and 7-2 over Michael Loger of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He dropped his final match to teammate
