Warrior Take Down Gray Wolves 72-60

SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's basketball team traveled to Sylvania, Ohio, on Wednesday evening to compete against the Lourdes University Gray Wolves in a matchup that was controlled by the Orange and Black on their way to a 72-60 win. The Warriors' win streak improves to five games, sitting at 14-3 on the season and 11-0 in WHAC play.

The Warriors got things started, compliments of a Bethany Worm jumper. After a brief stint with the game tied at 2, another Worm bucket gave the Orange and Black a lead they would maintain for the remainder of the game. In the closing minutes of the opening quarter, the Warriors stretched their lead to 8 points, taking a 19-11 lead into the second quarter. The second quarter was even, as the two squads matched each other shot for shot as the Warriors took a 36-28 lead into the break. Out of the locker room, the third quarter was similar to the second quarter with both teams trading baskets. Down the stretch, the Warriors extended their lead to 11 points going into the fourth quarter. Korryn Smith gave the Orange and Black their largest lead to start the fourth quarter, compliments of the long ball with 8:13 left in the game. The Gray Wolves didn't let the Warriors extend their lead any further than 14 as they went on to win 72-60.

The Warriors were led in scoring by Erika Foy with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Genevieve Decker posted a double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists.
