LIVONIA, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team played a second straight road game on Saturday as they battled Madonna University in Michigan.
Not a whole lot of offense happening in this one as both sides were locked in defensively. The Crusaders would head into the half with a six to one shot advantage, but the score would remain at 0-0 at the break. Chances would start to come for both teams in the second half and Madonna would capitalize on one in the 68
th minute to take a 1-0 lead. That goal would be the difference in the contest as neither team would score after that with the Warriors falling in a tight one on the road.
Meddy Masiga would lead all Warriors with two shots on goal, while
Sara Cogoli would make five saves in net for the Warriors in the loss.
The Warriors move to 4-7-3 overall on the season and 3-3-2 in WHAC play. Tech will play Concordia University on Saturday, October 19
th at 1pm at home in their next game.
