LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team finished their regular season on Saturday afternoon in Lima, Ohio, on the University of Northwestern Ohio campus. The Orange and Black handled business, downing the Racers 95-74. Tech finishes the regular season fourth in the WHAC, going 18-10 overall and 16-6 in conference play.
 
The Warriors got things started thanks to a Lucas Lyyski lay-in, but it was the hosts that took and maintained a lead through the opening ten minutes of play. After establishing an 8-point lead with just under ten minutes left in the first half, the Racers struggled with shooting and turnovers. The Warriors took advantage of the Racers 9 first-half turnovers and closed the last 9 minutes of the first half on a 24-9 run to take a 46-35 lead into the locker room. In the second half, the Warriors continued to grow their lead by forcing the Racers out of their offensive rhythm. The hosts shot 26.5% from the field, while the Orange and Black continued to score at a 48.6% rate. Tech watched their lead swell to as much as 26 points before settling for a 21-point 95-74 win.
 
The Warriors are back in action on Thursday as they host Lawrence Tech for the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament at 7:00 p.m.
