WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – On Sunday afternoon the Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team played a neutral site contest with No. 1 ranked Keiser University in a rematch of last year's national championship game which saw the Seahawks raise the banner. Tech would get off to a slow start in their season opener against the No. 1 Seahawks, trailing 7-1 after the first quarter, with
Cooper Musseman getting Tech on the board. Once the Warriors had settled in, the rest of the game would be fairly even with Keiser narrowly winning the last three quarters 17-13. The second quarter alone would display 17 of the games 28 goals, as offense was at a premium.
Devin Macomber would score his team high four goals in the second period, while Musseman and
Nate Langille would each grab one.
Josh Bramley would also score two man-up goals to close out the quarter. In the second half,
Cooper Langille would score his first goal of the 2024 campaign, while freshman
Jake Deacon would pick up his first collegiate goal for Tech.
Nate Langille and Bramley would finish the game with hattricks, while Langille would also finish with a team high three assists and six points.
