WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The No. 10 ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team traveled to Williamsburg, Kentucky on Sunday for a game against the No. 3 ranked University of the Cumberlands, where the Warriors would fall in a close contest 13-17 to the Patriots.

The first quarter of the game would be a back-and-forth affair resulting in a 3-3 tie at the end of it, with Michelle Farrell, Faith Donally, and Da'Zah Regusters scoring for the Warriors. The tide would start to turn in the Patriots favor in the second quarter after they scored three goals in 60 seconds of game time. Brooke Buhr and Donally would score in the quarter for the Warriors but Tech would trail 5-9 at the half. The Orange & Black would battle back though with a strong third quarter thanks to two early goals from Buhr and Regusters. Donally would also score, while Regusters would add two more in the quarter as the teams would head into the final quarter of play in a one goal game as Cumberlands led 11-10. However, the Patriots would open the fourth with four straight goals to build a five goal cushion to ice the game. Donally would score twice in the fourth and Jade Hamilton would also add one, but Tech would fall 13-17 in the end. Donally would lead the way with five goals and points, while Regusters would finish with four goals and points, in addition to her team high three draw controls and three caused turnovers.
