Farrell Scores Eight in Warriors Win Over Madonna

LIVONIA, Mich. – The No. 7 ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team traveled to Livonia, Michigan, on Saturday afternoon to wrap up their regular season with a game against the Madonna University Crusaders. With the 18-2 victory, the Orange and Black finished the regular season with seven straight wins.

In a dominating performance, Tech showed their offensive prowess. The Warriors wasted no time asserting their dominance, with Da'Zah Regusters opening the scoring in the first quarter with an unassisted goal. Michelle Farrell quickly followed suit, scoring four of her eight goals in the first frame, supported by well-timed assists from teammates like Jada Pope and Brooke Buhr. Tech's relentless offensive pressure left Madonna struggling to find a foothold as they surged to a commanding 12-0 lead heading into the midway break.

Madonna struck first in the third quarter as Jasmine Stringham found the net, but a pair of goals from Farrell and Regusters saw Tech win the third quarter. Tech's defense held firm, allowing just one more goal in the fourth. Meanwhile, Farrell continued to shine, adding three more goals to her tally to help ensure Tech's victory. Farrell also led the squad with three assists. Noelle Ricci and Jada Pope added three ground balls each, and Regusters led the side with two caused turnovers. Kat Hoff made four saves to move to 9-0 in goal this season.

The Warriors finish the season 12-3 overall and second in the conference at 7-1. The Warriors prepare for the WHAC Tournament, which they will host on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
