Men’s Lacrosse Wins Huge WHAC Tilt on Senior Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 9 ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team hosted No. 7 ranked Aquinas College in a huge top ten battle to decide the No. 2 seed in the WHAC conference standings. The Warriors were able to celebrate their 12 seniors in style on Saturday with a massive 16-13 victory in their last regular season home game.

Prior to the game, the Warriors would take a moment to hold their senior day festivities to recognize 12 seniors, including Justin Marquardt, Sebastien Guillaume, Cooper Musseman, Nate Langille, Nate Durham, Chris Domanski, Nick Craddock, Jonah Jarmus, Josh Brantley, Grant Seaman, Samue Bodley, and Simeon Bodley. The Warriors would be caught up in the moment as they game began with Aquinas jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the first three minutes of play. Jake Deacon would stop the run moments later, but the Saints would score two more to take a 5-1 lead at the 7:19 mark of the first quarter. Josh Bramley and Ryan Tedesco would score before the end of the period to cut the Warrior deficit to two at the break. Tech would score the first three goals of the second quarter to take their first lead of the game at 6-5 and would outscore Aquinas 6-2 in the quarter to go into halftime with a 9-7 lead. Aquinas would tie the game up at 11 midway through the third, but the Warriors would close the period strong with a 3-0 run aided by Cooper Langille and Samuel Bodley (2) to go up 14-11. Both defenses would lock in during the fourth quarter, with each team only allowing two goals, as the Warriors were able to fend off the Saints for the 16-13 win. Bodley would lead the Warriors with six points on two goals and four assists, while Nate Langille (5 A) and Josh Bramley (3 G, 2 A) would also each have five points. Deacon, Kyle TwoBulls, and Zach Spisz, and Tristan McKneely would lead the Orange & Black with five ground balls each, and Jonah Jarmus would post a team high six caused turnovers. TwoBulls would pick up the win in goal for the Warriors, making eight saves.
