CROWN POINT, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team followed up their first win of the season on Sunday with a draw today against Governors State University.
 
The Warriors would get on the board first in this one on a goal from sophomore defender Cassie Palazzolo in the 17^th minute of the game. Abbie Hulme would continue her hot form for the Warriors, assisting on Palazzolo's goal, after recording four points in the previous game. The Jaguars would answer though on the 31^st minute to tie the game at one going into halftime. The second half would feature a lot of chances but neither side would be able to capitalize as both teams would have to settle for the draw. The shot count would favor Tech 18-17, but shots on goal would go to Governors State 9-4, while both teams would have two corner kicks in the game. Sara Cogoli would play the full 90 minutes in goal for Tech, making a few massive stops in the second half to keep the Warriors level. She would finish the game with eight saves.
 
The Warriors now sit at 1-4-1 on the season as they complete their nonconference slate. Tech will now turn to conference action when the host the No. 4 ranked team in the country, Aquinas College, on Saturday, September 14^th at Warrior Athletic Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana at 4pm.
