UPLAND, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team traveled to Upland, Indiana for nonconference game against RV Taylor University on Wednesday afternoon that would end in a fourth straight loss to start the season for the Warriors.
Tech would go down early after conceding in the 16
th minute and would never really get a foothold in the game. Taylor would add a second goal in the 35
th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break. The second period would remain scoreless for most of the half as the Warriors would hold their own. However, the Trojans would tack on an insurance goal late and go on to win by a final of 3-0.
Sara Cogoli would play well in goal for the Warriors to keep them in the game as she would face a barrage of Trojan shots for 90 minutes. Cogoli would come up with a career high 11 saves in her second start for the Orange & Black.
The Warriors now move to 0-4-0 on the season and will play Indiana University Kokomo on Sunday, September 8
th at 3pm in Kokomo, Indiana.
