LIVONIA, Mich. - In a WHAC clash at the ACCU Arena on Saturday, the Warriors were narrowly edged out by the Crusaders with a final score of 77-79. With the loss, the Warriors move to 11-5 on the season and sit at 8-1 in conference play.

In the first half, the Warriors controlled the run of play, after opening the game on a 13-6 run across the first four minutes. Tech maintained a lead of around five points for the majority of the half and took their largest lead of the afternoon, eight points, off a lay-in from
Crew Gibson with 7:56 left in the first half, but the Crusaders wouldn't go away, cutting the margin to three points heading into the halftime break. The second half was a back-and-forth affair, that featured many ties and lead changes. Down the stretch, the Orange and Black came up just short as the hosts narrowly outlasted the Warriors.

Crew Gibson led all scorers with 27 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds and had two assists.
Brady Titus posted 13 points, one rebound, and four assists.
Blake Davison chipped in 12 points, three boards, and three assists.

Tech returns home for their next contest on Wednesday, January 15, as they host Rochester Christian University for an 8:00 p.m. tip-off.
