Roberts' 17 Points Paces the Warriors Past Rochester

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team was back in action on Wednesday evening as Rochester Christian University traveled to the Schaefer Center for a conference showdown. Tech controlled the game from the start, winning 87-62.

Out of the gate, the two sides were pretty level, however, out of the under fifteen media timeout, the Orange and Black a 16-3 run that spanned five minutes saw the hosts grab a 16-point lead and control of the game. Tech didn't slow down through the final ten minutes, taking a 39-24 lead into the halftime break. Out of the break, the Warriors picked up where they left off in the first. Despite a push from the visitors which cut the lead to eleven, the Orange and Black wouldn't let Rochester get any closer, cruising to an 87-62 victory.

Dallas Roberts led the Warriors with 17 points off the bench. He also grabbed two rebounds and dished out three assists. Crew Gibson posted a double-double with eleven points and eleven rebounds while adding seven dimes. Brady Titus and Max Perez chipped in ten points apiece.

With the win, the Warriors move to 12-5 overall on the season and 9-1 in conference play. The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, traveling to Defiance, Ohio, for a 3:00 p.m. tip-off with Defiance College.
