Warriors Cruise Past Saints in Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team returned to action on Saturday afternoon with a trip north to Adrian, Michigan, where they took on Siena Heights University in a conference matchup. In a dominant performance, the Orange and Black came out on top, winning 78-51 to move to a record of 15-5 overall and 12-1 in conference play.

After a slow five minutes from both squads to open the game, the two offenses started to click with Tech holding a narrow lead with ten minutes left in the half. The Warriors started to open the gap slightly with under five minutes left in the half and as time expired a triple from Brady Titus saw the Warriors carry a 17-point advantage into the second half. The second half played out similarly to the first as the Warriors maintained the lead they established but were unable to extend it through the opening ten minutes of the frame. Down the stretch, Tech widened the gap between the sides rolling to a 78-51 victory.

The Orange and Black were led by Crew Gibson who posted another double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Brady Titus tallied 13 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Dallas Roberts chipped in 12 points off the bench, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out three assists. Jaxson Fugate recorded 11 points from the bench, grabbed three boards, and had two assists.

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday, January 29, as they visit Lawrence Tech for a WHAC showdown, starting at 7:30 p.m.
