LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team put together an impressive display on the court on Wednesday evening as they earned a dominant victory over the Northwestern Ohio Racers with a final score of 90-74. The win boosts Tech's record to 11-4 overall and maintains a perfect 8-0 in league play.
Through the opening stages of the first half, the two sides were level, until the Warriors grabbed control over the final five minutes as they closed the half on a 14-1 run, which gave them a 47-32 lead heading into halftime. The run to close the first half, proved to be a pivotal moment in the contest as it gave the Warriors control, allowing them to stretch their lead significantly in the second half, reaching their largest advantage of 24 points at the 05:50 mark before cruising to the 90-74 win.
Blake Davison led the scoring for Indiana Tech with 19 points, followed closely by
Crew Gibson who recorded a double-double with 16 points and a remarkable 17 rebounds.
Dallas Roberts also contributed with 11 points.
The Warriors will face Madonna University in their next fixture, set to take place in Livonia, Michigan, on Saturday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m.
