FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team hosted Lawrence Tech University on Saturday afternoon in a close game between the WHAC's two Tech schools, where the Blue Devils stunned the Warriors in the final minute to win it 1-0.
 
Throughout the first half of play, the Blue Devils had the majority of the scoring chances, putting the Warriors' keeper, Sara Cogoli, to work early. The senior would make five first half saves as she kept LTU off the board, keeping the game tied 0-0 at halftime. In the second half, the Warriors would find their footing, equaling Lawrence Tech's tally with eight shots a piece. Neither side would find the back of the net until the Blue Devils finally prevailed in the 86^th minute. LTU made it 1-0 with under five minutes to play in what turned out to be the only goal of the game. The Warriors fall in another close one down the stretch. Cassie Palazzolo and Jordan Kallet would each register three shots in the game, while Cogoli finished with nine saves.
 
The Warriors drop to 2-9-0 overall and 2-5-0 in WHAC play and will host Cleary University in their next game on Wednesday, October 15^th at 7pm at Warrior Athletic Field.
