ADRIAN, Mich. – The No. 17 ranked Indiana Tech men's soccer team kicked off a Saturday afternoon WHAC contest against Siena Heights University on the road, where the Warriors would win 2-0 behind a brace from senior forward
Liam Arthur.
Arthur would make his mark early in the game, scoring a header goal off an assist from
Fabian Hauer in the 15
th minute. The Warriors would dominate the game, outshooting the Saints 12-2 in the first half, but wouldn't have much to show for it, only leading 1-0 at the halftime break. Arthur would double his tally on the day less than three minutes into the second half, scoring off an assist from
Tramaine Lawson. Tech would never really be tested in this one, controlling the game from start to finish. The defense wouldn't allow a shot in the second half, helping to keep the clean sheet.
Cuba Grant made two first half saves and picked up the win in goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors improve to 8-3-1 overall and 4-1-0 in WHAC play. Up next, Tech will play Defiance College on Wednesday, October 8
th at 3pm in Defiance, Ohio.
