FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has released the 2024-25 conference awards for women's basketball, and Indiana Tech had six all-conference awards highlight the honors. Taylor Covington took the title of WHAC Player of the Year, her third straight All-WHAC First Team selection, and a spot on the All-Defensive Team. Genevieve Decker was named the Defensive Player of the Year, earning a spot on the All-Defensive Team, and a spot on the All-WHAC First Team. Juliana Burris earned her first WHAC honor, earning a spot on the All-WHAC Second Team. With her season's performance, Jaidyn Gulley earned a spot on the All-Freshman team. Camille Keyes was named to the Champions of Character Team. Head Coach Jessie Biggs was named the WHAC Coach of the Year.
 
Taylor Covington – Player of the Year, All-Defensive Team, First Team All-WHAC
Taylor Covington was named WHAC Player of the Year for the first time, earned a spot on the All-Defensive Team for the first time, and was named First Team All-WHAC for the third straight year. As a junior, Taylor led the team in scoring with an average of 16.7 PPG. She also averaged 3.9 RPG and a team-high 4.1 APG. She has started in all 29 games this season so far. Covington also joined the 1,000 career points club this season.
 
Genevieve Decker – Defensive Player of the Year, All-Defensive Team, First Team All-WHAC
Genavieve Decker was named Defensive Player of the Year for the first time in her career as well as picking up her first First Team All-WHAC selection. Decker averaged 15.0 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 3.2 APG. Decker was third in the conference in field goal percentage, knocking down 171 of her 299 attempts for an average of 57.2%. The senior has started in all 29 games this season and surpassed the 1,000 career points and 500 rebounds mark this season.
 
Juliana Burris– Second Team All-WHAC
Juliana Burris earns her first WHAC honor with a selection to the All-WHAC Second Team. Burris was third on the team in scoring average with 9.8 PPG. She also added 4.8 RPG and 3.7 APG. Burris has appeared in 23 games for the Orange and Black this season, starting in all of them.
 
Jaidyn Gulley – All-Freshman Team
Jaidyn Gulley earns her first WHAC honor in her first season with the Warriors, earning a spot on the All-Freshman Team. Gulley has appeared in all 29 games for the Warriors this season. She averaged 5.7 PPG and is co-leader in rebounds with a 7.2 RPG average. Gulley also averages 1.6 assists per contest.
 
Jessie Biggs– WHAC Coach of the Year
Head Coach Jessie Biggs earned her eighth honor as Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Coach of the Year as she led the Warriors to their seventh conference title, winning seven of the last eight.
 
WHAC Champion of Character
Camille Keyes was Tech's representative to the WHAC Champions of Character Team. The award goes to the player who best displays the five core values of the NAIA: integrity, respect, responsibility, servant leadership, and sportsmanship.
 
All-Academic Team
Lauren Barton, Juliana Burris, Taylor Covington, Jacklyn Crews, Juliana Cutrara, Genevieve Decker, Camille Keyes, Amaris Lowery, Jenna McFarland, Gabby Richie, Korryn Smith, and Avah Smith all earned WHAC All-Academic honors in 2024-25 for holding a sophomore and above academic standing and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
