Warriors Bounce Back, Crush Cougars in Home Win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The #4 Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team hosted Columbia College (Mo.) on Friday night in their first game since falling to #4 University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in a one goal thriller last weekend. The Warriors would bounce back in a big way, crushing Columbia 24-7.

The Warriors came out with a fire under them in this one, scoring the first ten goals of the game and getting off to a 14-2 lead by halftime. Tech would score the first four goals coming out of the break to gup 18-2 before Columbia would finally start to have some answers. The Cougars would manage to score five of the next seven to make it a 20-7 game, but the Warriors would score four more to close the game out winning 24-7 in the end. 14 Warriors would pick up at least one point in the game with ten different goal scorers. Devin Macomber and Josh Bramley would lead the way, both registering four goals and two assists. Jake Deacon and Ryan Tedesco would each score hattricks and finish with five total points. Faceoff specialists Tristan McKneely and Alex Edwards would both win over 60% of their draws and lead the Warriors with six ground balls each, while Carter Krizmanich led the Warriors with three caused turnovers. Kyle TwoBulls would make the start in goal, picking up the win and making four saves in 30 minutes of work. Nehemiah Loving-Lewis would play the second half in goal for the Warriors and made one save. 

The Warriors will play No. 7 ranked William Penn (Iowa) in their next game on Friday, March 21st at 7pm at Warrior Athletic Field.
