Men’s Cross Country Receiving Votes in NAIA Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Indiana Tech men's cross country team starts the 2025 season receiving votes as the NAIA released the 2025 Top 25 Preseason Poll on Thursday.

The Warriors received six points in this year's preseason poll after sending one runner to the national tournament last season. Tech comes in two points behind SCAD Atlanta (Ga.), is tied with Montana Tech, and sits one point ahead of SCAD Savannah (Ga.). Tech is the third highest ranked WHAC school, coming in after #16 Aquinas (Mich.) (238 points) and RV Cornerstone (Mich.) (16 points). The Master's (Calif.) starts the year at #1 receiving 496 points after finishing fourth at least season's national championship. Second-place finisher Milligan (Tenn.) holds the #2 spot, while Taylor (Ind.) rounds out the top three. Defending national champion College of Idaho is #7 in the 2025 preseason poll.

The NAIA Preseason Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each conference. Points are tabulated by assigning 30 points to the team a coach ranks first, 29 points to a team a coach ranks second, and so on. The number of first-place votes indicates the number of coaches who ranked that team as the No. 1 team in the NAIA.
