Warriors Bounce Back with Sweep of Racers

LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team traveled to Lima, Ohio, on Friday evening for a contest with the Racers of Northwestern Ohio. Looking for a bounce-back victory, the Warriors found just that in the form of a 3-0 sweep, winning 25-16, 25-19, and 25-19.

In the opening set, Tech found themselves trailing early, behind 7-3. The deficit forced a response from the Warriors, which came in the form of a 5-0 run, putting Tech on top for the first time in the set. After trading a few points, an 8-1 run from Tech put them firmly in control of the set, eventually claiming it 25-16. Tech would battle back to close the set on a 15-4 run, winning the second set 25-19. The third set played out similarly to the first two, with the sides relatively even through the early stages.
