Warriors Dominate Racers Behind Beaston’s Historic Night

Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech Warriors put together one of their most complete performances of the season Wednesday night at the Schaefer Center, rolling past the Racers of the University of Northwestern Ohio 103–72 in a statement conference victory. From the opening tip, Tech controlled the pace on both ends of the floor, using efficient shooting, dominant rebounding, and unselfish ball movement to overwhelm the Racers.

Indiana Tech jumped out early behind strong perimeter shooting and relentless effort on the glass, building a 47–28 halftime lead. The Warriors shot 50% from the field in the first half, limiting Northwestern Ohio to just 28 points while forcing tough shots and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities.

The night belonged to Logan Beaston, who turned in a career performance for the Warriors. Beaston finished with a game-high 36 points, drilling an impressive 11 three-pointers and stretching the Racers' defense all night long. His 11 made three's tie the Indiana Tech single game record as he shot over 60% from behind the arc. His shooting opened the floor for Indiana Tech and ignited multiple scoring runs that put the game out of reach early.

Indiana Tech's offensive attack was balanced and efficient throughout the lineup. Jaxson Fugate recorded a dominant double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends and providing constant energy inside. Blake Davison stuffed the stat sheet with a near triple double finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, directing the offense and creating opportunities for teammates. Eric Hobson added 11 points off the bench, while Tech consistently found contributions across the roster.

The Warriors continued to apply pressure in the second half, outscoring the Racers 56–44 while extending the lead to as many as 32 points. Indiana Tech finished the contest shooting 48.7% from the field and 41.5% from three-point range, while winning the rebounding battle 56–35 and dishing out 26 assists as a team.

With the 103-point effort, Indiana Tech showcased its depth, chemistry, and offensive firepower, improving to 15–3 overall and 11–2 in conference play. The Warriors will look to carry this momentum forward as they continue their conference schedule.
