FORT WAYNE, Ind. –

Jaxson Fugate,
Giselle Uvieghara, and
Jayden Packer were named Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Gage Reimer won men's hockey defensive player of the week after recording a 23 save shutout victory against Aquinas to clinch the WHAC Title on Friday night.
Jaxson Fugate was named men's basketball offensive player of the week after posting 49 points, 26 rebounds, and 6 assists helping the Warriors to two huge wins over two of the top teams in the WHAC in Madonna and Lourdes. This is the fifth WHAC Player of the Week honor this season for the sophomore from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Giselle Uvieghara won women's track athlete of the week after hitting two NAIA A standards in the 400m and 4x400m relay at the BGSU Big Meet on Friday. She ran a lifetime best 55.80 to hit the A standard in the 400m and her time is now 9th in the NAIA. Uvieghara also ran a leg on the 4x400m relay which also hit the A standard with the 4th fastest time in the NAIA. It is her third WHAC honor this season.
Jayden Packer pole vaulted his way to men's field athlete of the week with a season best 4.75m and NAIA B standard at the WHAC vs MIAA Challenge. He now currently ranks 12th in the NAIA.
Conference player of the week awards are released every Monday throughout the school year.
