Three Warriors Claim Player of the Week Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech's Damien Keys, Bo Geibe, and Zack Karns were named Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and Mid-South Conference (MSC) Players of the Week, the conferences announced Monday.

Damien Keys hit a season best with a mark of 7.49m in the long jump to win the event and improve his NAIA 'A' standard at the Indiana Tech Orange & Black Invitational last Friday, earning WHAC Field Athlete of the Week. Bo Geibe was named the Mid-South Women's Wrestler of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks after going 4-0 at the For Her Duals on Sunday. She would pick up two tech fall wins and two decision wins, two of which were against top ten ranked. Zack Karns would earn WHAC Men's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honors after putting up 23 blocks in three matches this past weekend, averaging 1.77 per set, in addition to adding eight digs.

Conference player of the week awards are released every Monday throughout the school year.
