WILLAMSBURG, Ky. – The Indiana Tech baseball team secured a three-game sweep over No. 6 Cumberlands with an 11-9 win on Saturday.
Cumberlands took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. In the top of the second, An RBI double by
Jacoby Roberson tied the game at 1-1. A run came around to score on a wild pitch to make it 2-1. An RBI double by
Keelan Dunkle put the Warriors ahead 3-1.
Cumberlands added a run in the bottom of the second to make it 3-2.
An RBI single by
Keelan Dunkle in the top of the fourth put Indiana Tech ahead 4-2. Cumberlands used a two-run home run to tie the game at 4-4 in the fourth inning.
An RBI single by
Derek Ruiz in the fifth put Indiana Tech back ahead 5-4.
In the top of the seventh, an RBI single by
Jorge Santana put the Warriors in front 6-4. A bases loaded walk made it 7-4, and an RBI fielder's choice by
Noah McEldowney put Indiana Tech ahead 8-4.
Cumberlands added two runs in the seventh to make it 8-6.
In the top of the ninth, an RBI groundout by
Keelan Dunkle made it 9-6.
Noah McEldowney followed with a two-run home run to put Indiana Tech ahead 11-6.
Cumberlands scored three runs in the ninth, but Indiana Tech held on to secure the 11-9 win and complete the three-game sweep.
Five different Warriors had two hits.
Keelan Dunkle led Indiana Tech with four RBI, and
Noah McEldowney added three RBI.

Luke Myers got the start, allowing two runs in 3.1 innings.

Keegan Miller picked up the win, throwing 1.1 innings in relief.
Kade Robinson threw a scoreless inning.
Kail Baughman threw an inning, and
Colton Leatherman picked up his third save of the season.
Indiana Tech moves to 4-2 on the year. The Warriors return to action next Friday at Campbellsville University.
