FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The #6 Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team hosted the Missouri Baptist Spartans in a Friday afternoon contest, where the Warriors dominated for the full 60 minutes.
 
Coming off a loss in their season opener to top ranked #1 Keiser, the Warriors would bounce back in a big way against the Spartans. Tech would start out blazing with a 10-0 first quarter, led by four goals from junior Cam Fewster. After going down 13-0, Missouri Baptist would finally get on the board midway through the second quarter. Tech would ultimately take the quarter 7-4, building a 17-4 halftime lead. The second half would be much of the same as the Orange & Black put up another 11 goals over the next 20 minutes. There were no goals over the final eight minutes of the contest as Tech cruised to victory with a 28-10 blowout win. Kinley Hynote was the star of the game with 13 points! The senior from Chesterton, Indiana found the back of the net seven times and added six assists. Fewster would finish the game with eight points on six goals and two assists. Luke Prohaska tallied four ground balls for the Warriors, while Zach Spisz caused three turnovers on the defensive side of the ball. Carl Drumgoole would pick up his first career win in goal for the Warriors, recording nine saves and one ground ball over 60 minutes.
 
The Warriors pick up their first win of the season and improve to 1-1 overall. Up next, they will face their first road test with a pair of games in Iowa. Tech will play at #6 William Penn on Saturday, March 7^th and then (RV) Saint Ambrose on Sunday, March 8^th.
