FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team swept Aquinas 25-16, 25-16, 25-16 on Friday afternoon.
Indiana Tech jumped out to a 6-1 lead early in set one, but Aquinas cut the lead to one at 10-9. The Warriors then used a 6-1 run to take a 16-10 lead. Indiana Tech would take the first set 25-16.
The second set was evenly matched as the teams found themselves tied at 11-11. Indiana Tech then used an 8-1 run to take a 19-12 lead. The Warriors also took the second set 25-16.
Indiana Tech led Aquinas 13-12 and used an 8-2 run to extend their advantage to 21-14. The Warriors would also take the third set 25-16 and the match 3-0.
Dylan Poore led Indiana Tech with 10 kills and two aces.
Zack Karns had 3.0 blocks to lead the team.
Nolan Bosley had 33 assists, and both
Rylan Koser and
Jensen Yarosh had seven digs apiece.
Indiana Tech moves to 7-5 overall and 4-2 in WHAC play. The Warriors return to action on Saturday at home against Cornerstone at 5:00 PM.
