FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Top seeded Indiana Tech women's basketball used a massive second half to take down fifth-seeded Siena Heights 77-49 in the WHAC Semifinals on Friday.
The score was tied 7-7 three minutes into the game. Indiana Tech then used a 10-1 run to take a 17-8 lead. Tech led 21-12 at the end of one.
Siena Heights cut the lead to two at 25-23, but Indiana Tech closed the half on a 9-2 run to take a 34-25 lead into halftime.
Indiana Tech opened the half on a 15-2 run to extend their lead to 49-27. Indiana Tech led 58-35 at the end of three.
Indiana Tech would cruise to a 77-49 win to advance to the WHAC Finals.

Taylor Covington lived up to the billing, scoring 35 points on 13-15 shooting.
Ryan Moorer had 18 points and nine rebounds, and
Jaidyn Gulley added 13 points and six steals.
Tech shot 55.4 percent from the field and held Siena Heights to 34 percent shooting
Indiana Tech moves to 25-5 on the year. The Warriors will host the WHAC Championship Game on Monday at 6:00 PM.
