DEARBORN, Mich. – The 12
th ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team bounced back with a 90-68 victory over Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday.
Indiana Tech opened the game with nine straight points. With Tech leading 14-3, UM-Dearborn used a 17-2 run to take a 20-16 lead. The Warriors responded with an 11-2 run to take a 27-22 advantage.
With the Warriors up 31-28, Indiana Tech used a massive 24-2 run to take a 54-30 run into the half.
Indiana Tech led by as many as 36 and would cruise to a 90-68 win.
Six different Warriors scored nine or more points.
Logan Beaston,
Steele Brasfield, and
Eric Hobson each scored 14 points.
Blake Davison had 13 points, and both
Dallas Roberts and
Caleb Lehrman added nine points apiece.
Indiana Tech shot 46.8 percent from the floor and 34.4 percent from three. The Warriors held UM-Dearborn to 32.1 percent shooting and 27.3 percent from three.
Indiana Tech moves to 17-6 overall and 13-5 in WHAC play. The Warriors return to action on Wednesday at Lourdes.
