UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Indiana Tech carried momentum from its Senior Night win over No. 7 Adrian College into the final weekend of conference play, closing out the CCWHA schedule with a two-game sweep of Penn State at Pegula Ice Arena. After defeating Adrian 4–2 on January 30 in the final home matchup of the season, the Warriors continued their strong form on the road.
Friday night opened with a scoreless first period before the Warriors broke through in the second. Avery Johnson got Indiana Tech on the board, and after Penn State answered to tie the game, Tech responded with a power-play goal from Allison Greene to take the lead. The momentum carried into the third period, where Payton Gilmour extended the advantage before Greene sealed the 4–1 win with a shorthanded, unassisted goal late in the game.
Saturday's finale was a tighter contest, but the result stayed the same. Haylee Grenier scored midway through the first period to give Indiana Tech an early lead. After Penn State tied the game in the third, the Warriors answered once again, with Allison Greene scoring the game-winning goal in the final minutes to secure a 2–1 victory and complete the conference sweep.
