DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team defeated Defiance in four sets on Tuesday night.
 
Defiance jumped out to a 16-9 lead in set one. Indiana Tech responded with an 11-2 run to swing the lead in their favor at 20-18. Defiance took a 22-21 lead, but Indiana Tech scored four of the final five points to take the set 25-23.
 
Defiance took an 18-15 lead in the second set. Indiana Tech tied the set at 18-18. Indiana Tech took a 22-21 lead, but Defiance used a 4-1 run to take the second set 25-23.
 
Defiance opened the third set on a 10-2 run. Defiance led 17-10, but Indiana Tech started chipping away at the lead. With Defiance ahead 21-16, Indiana Tech used a 9-1 run to take the third set 25-22.
 
Indiana Tech opened the second set with an 8-2 run. Defiance cut the lead to three at 13-10, but Indiana Tech used a 5-2 run to extend their lead to 18-12. With an 18-13 lead, Indiana Tech rattled off a 7-1 run to take the fourth set 25-14 and the match 3-1.
 
Dylan Poore led Indiana Tech with 14 kills, three aces, and 4.0 blocks. Logan Gieseke and Kristian Kold both had nine kills. Nolan Bosley had 37 assists and 3.0 blocks. Logan Gamero and Zack Karns each had 4.0 blocks.
 
Indiana Tech moves to 12-7 overall and 7-3 in WHAC play. The Warriors return to action on Friday at home against No. 13 Lawrence Tech.
