Warriors Complete Weekend Sweep of Aquinas

FORT WAYNE, IND. - Indiana Tech capped off a dominant weekend by completing the series sweep of Aquinas with a 9-5 win in game one on Sunday. The Warriors wasted no time responding after an early deficit, as Mikayla Cvitanovich launched a two-run home run to spark the offense. Indiana Tech went on to score in five consecutive innings, including a four-run fourth inning highlighted by a two-run blast from Carlye Walter. The Warriors totaled 15 hits in the game, with Morgan Macek leading the way with a 4-for-5 performance and two RBIs, while multiple players contributed extra-base hits to keep the pressure on throughout.

Aquinas attempted a late comeback with four runs in the sixth inning, but Indiana Tech quickly answered to shut the door. Macek delivered an RBI single to extend the lead, while Savannah Bravo picked up the win in the circle with 5.1 strong innings and five strikeouts. Mallory Stinson came in to finish the game, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings with three strikeouts to secure the victory and keep the Warriors in control.

Indiana Tech carried that momentum into game two, securing a 3-1 win to officially complete the weekend sweep. After falling behind early, the Warriors responded with smart baserunning and timely hitting in the second inning, highlighted by an RBI single from Melissa Cabrera to take the lead. Carlye

Walter continued her strong day at the plate, adding an RBI double in the third inning to provide an important insurance run.
From there, Mackenzie Arroyo took over in the circle and delivered a complete-game performance to lock down the win. She allowed just three hits and one run while striking out four, keeping Aquinas off balance all game long. The Warriors' ability to combine explosive offense in game one with disciplined pitching in game two showcased their versatility as they closed out the weekend with a full series sweep and continued to build momentum in WHAC play.
