LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Indiana Tech baseball team fell to No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett 6-0 to close out the weekend series.
Georgia Gwinnett took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, and that score held until the sixth. Gwinnett scored four runs in the sixth to extend their lead to 5-0.
Gwinnett added another run in the eighth to make it 6-0, which would go on to be the final score.
Indiana Tech only had five hits in the contest.
Noah McEldowney stole two bases in the loss.
Luke Myers got the start, allowing one run in 4.0 innings.
Danny May threw 1.2 innings of relief, and
Gary Glaser III followed with 1.1 innings.
Tad Dobek got an out in the eighth, and
Keegan Miller followed for the final two outs of the innings.
Indiana Tech moves to 9-5 on the year. The Warriors return to action on Tuesday at No. 4 Tennessee Wesleyan.
