GOSHEN, Ind. – The Indiana Tech volleyball team won their ninth straight WHAC match with a 3-1 victory over Goshen on Friday night.
Goshen jumped out to a 19-12 lead in the first set. Indiana Tech cut the lead to four at 23-19, but Goshen went on to take the first set 25-19.
With Indiana Tech ahead 14-12, the Warriors used a 6-1 run to take a 20-13 lead. Indiana Tech would go on to take the second set 25-18.
Goshen jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the third set. Indiana Tech stormed back to take a 16-15 lead. The Warriors would go on to take the third set 25-22.
Indiana Tech took a 12-7 lead in the fourth set. Goshen fought back to tie the set at 19-19, but Indiana Tech used a 6-1 run to take the fourth set 25-20 and the match 3-1.
Dylan Poore led Indiana Tech with 17 kills and five aces.
Logan Gieseke added 12 kills and 3.0 blocks.
Kristian Kold had 11 kills, and
Zack Karns also added 3.0 blocks.
Nolan Bosley led Indiana Tech with 44 assists, 10 digs, and 3.0 blocks.
Indiana Tech moves to 20-8 overall and 14-3 in WHAC play. The Warriors conclude regular season play with a road match against No. 8 Bethel.
