ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Indiana Tech men's track and field team finished second out of 88 teams at the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Asheville, North Carolina.
Indiana Tech had 24 compete at the National Championships:

Adam Teitelbaum,
Dajuan Green,
Caleb Stuart,
Taryll Thompson,
James Barragan,
Kehan Kumarasiri,
Joseph Hinds,
Andrew Mercier and
Giulio Romano.
Indiana Tech finished with 49.2 points, good for second in the NAIA. They had All-Americans in nine events.
In the 110m Hurdles,
Nic Tozer finished fourth and
Javion Westfield finished sixth to earn All-American status and give Indiana Tech eight total points.
In the 400m,
Daiveon Gayle-Woodley finished third to earn All-American status and give Indiana Tech six points.
In the 4x100m Relay, the group of Green, Stuart, Thompson, and Barragan finished seventh to earn All-American Honors and give Indiana Tech two points.
In the 4x400m Relay, the group of Kumarasiri, Barragan, Smith, and Gayle-Woodley finished fourth to earn All-American Honors and give Indiana Tech five points.
In the 4x800, Relay, the group of Mercier, Davis, Romano, and Castillo finished third to earn All-American status and give Tech six points.
In the Hammer Throw,
Jacob Kavicky became an All-American, finished fourth and earning five points for Indiana Tech.
In the Long Jump,
Damien Keys (5
th) and
Stephen Sydnor (7
th) were All-Americans and earned Indiana Tech six total points.
In the Pole Vault,
Jayden Packer (T2nd) and
Carter Huntsman (T6th) were All-Americans and earned Indiana Tech 8.2 points.
The final All-American for Indiana Tech was at the Triple Jump, where
Adam Teitelbaum finished sixth to give Tech three points.
Indiana Tech finishes the year placing third at Indoor Nationals and Second in Outdoor Nationals.
