FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's and women's track teams continued their outdoor campaigns with a pair of meets in Indiana this weekend. Tech would compete at the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana on Thursday and Friday and the Indiana Little State Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan on Friday and Saturday.
 
Gibson Invitational meet highlights:

• Tech would only send a few athletes to Terre Haute for the Gibson Invite, but Will Jarman would finish second in the Decathlon with 7,004 points to break an Indiana Tech school record. Norman Robert would finish in eighth with 6,017 points to move into second all-time for Tech and Reanno Todd finished in 12^th with 4,512 points
• In the javelin, Ryah DiGiacomo finished seventh with a 37.35m and Emma Longueuay was ninth with a 36.61m for the women, while Jayden Packer was 15^th on the men's side with a 43.66m

 
Indiana Little State Championships meet highlights:
Men:

• The Warriors dominated in the 110m hurdles, taking the top three spots. Nic Tozer won the event with a NAIA B standard 14.44, while Zion Smith finished second in 14.48 and Jackie Saye finished third in 14.69
• The 4x800m relay team of Andrew Mercier, Lyonell Castillo, Giulio Romano, and Waval Davis hit the NAIA A standard and won the race with a time of 7:35.82
• Angel Toledo and Jayden Packer finished second and third in pole vault with jumps of 4.65m
• Darian Long won the long jump with a mark of 7.15m, while Shawn Wilhite was third with a 6.90m
• Jacob Kavicky hit a NAIA B standard in the hammer throw and finished fifth with a mark of 55.07m

Women:

• The 100m dash ended in a photo finish with two Warriors leading the way as Gabrielle Hoskins won it with a time of 12.15 and K'Leigh Davis finished second in 12.16
• Bronwyn Nel won the 5000m race with a time of 18:34.86
• Annaja Daniel finished second in the 100m hurdles in 14.73
• Alyssa Christian was second in the high jump with a mark of 1.64m
• Viviana Rodriguez and Tatum Wiedenhaft both placed third in pole vault and shot put, respectively, with marks of 3.53m and 13.46m

Up next, the Warriors will compete at the Mount Union Classic in Alliance, Ohio on Wednesday and Thursday, April 22^nd and 23^rd.
