FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's and women's track teams continued their outdoor campaigns with a pair of meets in Indiana this weekend. Tech would compete at the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana on Thursday and Friday and the Indiana Little State Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan on Friday and Saturday.
Gibson Invitational meet highlights:
- Tech would only send a few athletes to Terre Haute for the Gibson Invite, but Will Jarman would finish second in the Decathlon with 7,004 points to break an Indiana Tech school record. Norman Robert would finish in eighth with 6,017 points to move into second all-time for Tech and Reanno Todd finished in 12th with 4,512 points
- In the javelin, Ryah DiGiacomo finished seventh with a 37.35m and Emma Longueuay was ninth with a 36.61m for the women, while Jayden Packer was 15th on the men's side with a 43.66m
