FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team started their season on Saturday afternoon with a home game against Judson University.
Judson scored the first goal of the game at the 19:13 mark with a shot from outside the box before adding a second at 34:34 to go up 2-0 at half. A rain delay would stall the halftime break by an extra hour. The Warriors would come out of the half with a chance to chip away at the deficit but would be unable to find a goal today. The Eagles scored a third in the final few minutes to wrap up the game as the Warriors would drop the contest 3-0 in the end.
Madison Strain made nine saves in goal for Tech, while
Leticia Guimaraes registered the lone shot on goal.
The Warriors start the season at 0-1 and will be back in action on Wednesday, August 26
th at 7pm when they play at #12 Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
