FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech men's soccer head coach Jack Rose has been nominated for the 2026 Amani Services Welcoming Fort Wayne Emerging Leader Award.
 
The Welcoming Fort Wayne Awards celebrate the achievements of exceptional immigrants and refugees, native community individuals, organizations and companies that have demonstrated a strong commitment to multiculturism, and others who have shown dedication to creating a welcoming Fort Wayne community.
 
The Emerging Leader Award honors a newcomer to the multicultural community who has demonstrated exceptional resilience and commitment to improving the community and lives of immigrant/refugee families through their burgeoning career or volunteer work.
 
During his time at Tech, Jack Rose has been instrumental in building one of the most diverse soccer teams in the country. The program currently has players from 32 different countries, united by a shared passion for the sport.
 
Rose, originally from Redcar, England, was an international student and has turned that experience into a career helping other international students find a place in the United States.
 
Rose is in his third year at Indiana Tech. This is first year as the head coach, spending the previous two seasons as an assistant.
