FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech men's hockey coach,
Frank DiCristofaro, has named team captains for the 2026-27 season.
Pavel Svoboda will wear the 'C' on his jersey this season as the Jihlava, Czechia native returns for a fifth and final season in the Orange & Black. Alongside Svoboda, seniors
Isaiah Gagerman and
Mason Bazaluk, and junior
Jeremy Dunmore will make up the rest of the leadership group serving as alternate captains this coming season.
Pavel Svoboda will serve as Indiana Tech's captain in 2026-27, taking over the role from
Malik Ali, who captained the Warriors the past two seasons. Svoboda has played four seasons at Tech, making him one of the most experienced players with 121 career games played. He has helped lead Tech's offense over the years, scoring 30 goals and adding 40 assists, totaling 70 career points.
Defenseman
Isaiah Gagerman will serve as an alternate captain this season and has also been a big offensive weapon for the Warriors over his first three seasons. The Chicago, Illinois native has scored nine goals and added 40 assists for 49 total career points over 82 career games.
In three seasons at Tech,
Mason Bazaluk has played 71 games, recording 15 goals and 28 assists, totaling 43 career points. The Thunder Bay, Ontario native will serve as an alternate captain this season.
Also from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and wearing the 'A' on his jersey,
Jeremy Dunmore played 25 games during his freshman season, but was injured most of his sophomore season, only appearing in three games. Dunmore has been a point per game forward for the Warriors, recording 25 points from ten goals and 15 assists in 25 games.
Tech will open their season during Homecoming weekend against Davenport University with a home game Friday night at the PSM Icehouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 2
nd at 7:30pm.
