Prior to Tech: Adding to the biggest international recruiting class in program history, the tall Dutchman is a wall at the net and adds a lot of size in general standing at 6’7. Venema comes in with experience from the second-best league in the Netherlands, which traditionally has been in the world's elite when it comes to the pro leagues and national teams. Max comes in from Bonhoeffer College and while being one of many engineers on the team, he idolizes the great American, LeBron James.
