Indiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame
The 2009 Women’s Volleyball Team finished the season with a 34-11 overall record, going 14-0 in WHAC play on their way to their second of four straight WHAC regular season championships. The Warriors would also win the first ever WHAC Tournament Championship in program history in 2009 in the first of three straight tournament titles. Tech would finish the season in the NAIA National Championships Final 12 after winning their opening round game and going 2-1 in pool play to advance into single elimination part of the tournament. There would be 2 All-Americans on the 2009 team in Ashley Hamilton and Erika Stouder. Coach Kirsta Solberg would be named WHAC Coach of the Year, while 5 Warriors would earn All-Conference selections. Ashley Hamilton would also be named WHAC Player of the Year and make the NAIA All-Tournament Team.
