Indiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame
Mark Baptist was a four-year standout on the soccer field for the Orange and Black, appearing in 77 career games while helping the team go 40-29-8 under head coach Martin Neuhoff (2008-10) and David Bokhart (2011). He led the 2009 team to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament title and a berth in the NAIA National Championship for the first time since 1983, making it to the quarterfinals after defeating University of Maine at Fort Kent in the NAIA Opening Round. A three-time All-Conference selection, he was named the WHAC Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and garnered NAIA All-America Team honors.
