Box Score LIMA, Ohio – Despite goals from Nicole Price and Tori Singstock, the Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (14-5, 7-2) 4-2 in the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, ending the Warriors season.

The Orange and Black got off to a promising start, scoring the games' first goal in the ninth minute on a header by Price off a corner kick from 2013 leading scorer, Singstock. Six minutes later the Racers netted the equalizer as Sarah Huchet dribbled past the defense and beat Tech goal keeper Jordan Roell to the right lower 90 for the goal. Then in the 19th minute, Frida Bremer broke away from the defense and chipped the ball over Roell's head for the 2-1 lead.

After netting their goal the Warriors took just one more shot, missing wide in the 38th minute. UNOH outshot Tech 8-5 in the half including a 5-2 margin in shots on frame. Roell made three saves in the half while Sara Olofsson stopped one of the two shots she faced in the period.

The Warriors started the second half strong, as Singstock attempted the first shot of the half and had it blocked, unfortunately, the defense was unable to make a solid transition as Taryn Pardoe beat Roell to the far corner for the game-winner, putting UNOH ahead 3-1. Bremer added an insurance goal in the 61st minute from Taryn Pardoe to give the Racers a 4-1 lead.

Tech never gave up and cut the lead to two at the 81:57 mark when Singstock beat the keeper for an unassisted goal, her 17th of the season, giving her 40 points on the year.
UNOH outshot Tech 14-11 in the contest and 8-4 in shots on frame, with the Racers also taking six corner kicks to just three for the Warriors. Roell finished the game with four saves while Olofsson recorded two. Singstock attempted five shots and put two on goal while Natalie Zimmerman added three shots.

The Warriors finished the year with a 9-9-1 overall ledger and a 4-5 conference mark. Behind Singstock, Megan Perrey and Zimmerman each finished the season with 14 points, each scoring six goals and tallying two assists. Morgan Kroezen finished the season as the assist lead with four.
