Box Score CLINTON, Iowa –The Indiana Tech women's soccer team suffered another one-goal loss, falling in the last five minutes to No. 20 Ashford on Saturday, 3-2. Ashford improves to 6-2 on the season while the Warriors fall to 4-4-1 in 2013.

For the second time in two days Indiana Tech was shutout in the first half, as the Saints scored twice to take a 2-0 halftime lead, despite being outshot 10-7 in the period. The Warriors also had a 4-2 edge in shots on frame; however, they couldn't get past Jessica VanDyke.

Hollie Babut got the scoring started in the 38th minute with an assists by Jordan Pisesky and AU scored their second goal at the 40:34 mark in the first half on a penalty kick.

It was a much different second half as Alex Field tallied two goals, both unassisted to tie the game. Her first came at the 57:48 mark and she netted the equalizer just three minutes later, her first two tallies of the season and her only shots of the game.

It looked as though the two teams were headed for overtime as they were tied 2-2 until the 85th minute when Luciane Wentz scored off a set piece from the corner as Sarah Schreck was credited with the assist off the corner kick.

The Orange and Black outshot Ashford 21-15 for the game, including 11-8 in the second half, tallying eight shots on goal compared to five for the Saints. Ashford took four corner kicks to Tech's two, while Tech was the more aggressive team with 13 fouls to nine for Ashford, including two cards to one for the Saints.

The Warriors will look to bounce back against the Cougars of Cleary on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at Warrior Field.
