Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fought Aquinas College to a hard-fought 1-1 double overtime draw in each team's WHAC opener.
Tech struck quickly as
Megan Perrey, the reigning WHAC Offensive Player of the Week, scored her sixth goal of the season to give the Warriors the 1-0 lead in the seventh minute.
The Saints would not go quietly on their Homecoming Weekend however, as Anya Pallas would notch the equalizer in the 40th minute.
Both teams went the next 70 minutes without finding the back of the net, as keepers
Alena Payne and Lindsey Armstrong stood tall in net. Payne finished the match with six saves.
The Warriors fired off six shots on goal and ten overall.
