Head Coach Jim Lipocky: Now in his eight season as the head coach of the Warriors, Jim Lipocky has won 66 games at Indiana Tech, the most in school history, and has 99 victories in all in 17 years of coaching. He also holds the second-best winning percentage all-time at Tech. During the 2012 campaign, he led the Warriors to their most successful season since 2002, compiling a 16-4-1 record, the second most victories in school history. During his tenure with the Orange and Black, Lipocky has coached 37 WHAC All-Academic members, 27 NAIA Scholar-Athletes and 21 WHAC All-Conference honorees. In 2011 he was named the WHAC's Champion of Character Coach.

Scouting the Opposition: Siena Heights – The Saints are one of the hottest teams in the WHAC and all of the NAIA right now with an eight match winning streak to their credit. The only blemish on their record came in their season opener where they suffered a 4-1 loss to #8 Spring Arbor. Siena Heights has posted six shutouts this season, tied for the fourth most in the country. Megan Bogg and Taylor Hill has each posted three clean sheets while only giving up six goals in between them. Taylor Mulder has recorded 10 goals through nine games this season while also adding three assists for 23 points. She ranks tied for 11th in goals in the nation and has scored at least one goal in every game but two.

Davenport – The Panthers will host Cornerstone on Wednesday evening before coming to Summit City, but are currently on a two-match conference losing streak, most recently losing to Lourdes on Saturday, 1-0. Nea-Stina Liljedahl leads the team in goals with five and has also dished out four assists. Tara Gessler has only given up nine goals in just over 690 minutes of game action and all three of her victories have been shutouts.

Series Notes: Siena Heights – The Warriors have lost two straight to the Saints, most recently falling last year at home, 1-0, to the 20th ranked team in the country. Since 2005, Tech is 1-12 against Siena Heights with their lone victory coming in 2012.

Davenport – Tech has lost six straight to the Panthers dating back to 2010. Overall, they are 3-11 since 2006. The Orange and Black fell in Grand Rapids a season ago in double overtime, 2-1.

We're Going Streaking: Senior midfielder Megan Perrey has been on a scoring tear since Sept. 16, scoring five goals in four games, including two game-winners. She notched two against Huntington to start her streak, while also tallying against #RV Ashford, Goshen and Aquinas.

Teaming Up for the Kids: The Indiana Tech women's soccer team is teaming up with Go4theGoal to help fight pediatric cancer. As part of their campaign, Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer, the Warriors are taking the field on Oct. 7 against Madonna as part of Pediatric Cancer Night. Getting it Done in the Classroom: Indiana Tech was recognized with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award on Sept. 23 after obtaining a 3.45 composite grade point average for the 2014-15 academic year. The Team Academic Award is awarded annually to soccer programs whose student-athletes have excelled in the classroom. This is the eighth time the women's team has been recognized and the third straight year under head coach Jim Lipocky, and fourth overall during his tenure. Tech was one of only two women's teams in the WHAC to be recognized.

Picking up the Hardware: Perrey was named the WHAC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 14-20, as she recorded three goals over the week. She provided both the Warriors goals in the 2-0 victory over Huntington and her score in the 87th minute against #RV Ashford sent the game into overtime. She leads the team with four goals on the year.

Standing Tall: Senior goalkeeper Alena Payne has taken ownership of the Warriors net, starting seven matches and logging over 670 minutes of game action. Payne's 49 saves rank second in the WHAC and she is tied for 35th nationally, while her 7.0 saves per game is also second in the league and 32nd in the country.
